Applying fairies' make-up, trying on costume, a barbecue at Mwnt, rehearsing A Midsummer Night's Dream
The St Dogmaels Abbey Productions go from the very first read-through to the finished production in just over a week. This includes all rehearsals, line-learning, set-building, light-rigging, musical rehearsals and a large amount of prop- and costume-making. The process is highly intensive and depends a lot on being blessed with good weather but is also great fun.
Here are a number of photos showing what goes on in the run up to the performances.
